Finally, I've got my latest films developed and scanned. I disassembled my scanning rig in hope to get soon EFH (The Essential Film Holder #essential_film_holder), but it took 3 months to perform simple laser cut on plastics and ship it with Royal mail... What can I say? EFH is a good thing, but 3 months to wait is way too long. Too long. From the other hand, I still cannot use my copying stand with it because of not having enough hight. So, finally I assembled back my old good scanning rail and copied all 150 negatives 😅.

One thing makes me happy is that cheap #fomapan #fomapan100 film. I run out of my previous developer Fx-39 #fx39 and bought that new for me - HC-110 #hc110, a German-made replica of original Kodak developer. And other great thing was to shoot 100 film at ISO64 and develop at dilution 63:1. This gave me fantastic contrast and negative density I like so much. I bought bulk roll of fomapan 100, happy with it so far.

Guess who knocked the front standard again! Getting the hang, and using a wide angle presents itself with some headaches with the smaller bag bellows.

Trying to correct for the distortion of the wide angle lens, parallels in the verticals and fiddle with the depth of field ‘in-camera’ by moving, rotating and tilting the lens and film plane is a challenge and was so, so close! I need to watch removing the old timey focussing cloth on my head 🥴

Fairly happy otherwise and need to work out why the negs are getting scratched, I suspect it’s the film holder loading process. Second pic is the camera at work, third is a night time test in #norwich, #Norfolk.

Another round in the battle with #120film. This time using some very expired #Ilford #FP4Plus and an #AgfaClack. I am wondering if the problem with the #DaylightTank is #Fomapan The FP4 loaded perfectly. The images are ropey but never-the-less I got the correct number of exposures (all 8 massive 6x9 ones) with no #lightleaks and developed it at home. #photo #photography #BelieveInFilm #AnaloguePhotography #FilmIsNotDead it's just a bit under the weather.
