Der #Kodak #Entwickler ist ziemlich genau ein Jahr alt, insofern war das ein Experiment mit drei Unbekannten: Geht die Kamera vom #Flohmarkt, funktioniert der Entwickler und warum ist das Wasser aus der Leitung heute so heiß? 😅 #Negativ sieht sehr #kontrastreich aus, vielleicht ein wenig zu lang ziehen lassen! 😉

Preparing the fish

I took this shot late in the evening in the harbor of Aden, Yemen. It was late, but these guys were still working on the latest catch in order to sell it early the next morning. This man was shouting something - I did not understand what.

Yemen is a fascinating country in every aspect. I met some amazing people.

Trying to correct for the distortion of the wide angle lens, parallels in the verticals and fiddle with the depth of field ‘in-camera’ by moving, rotating and tilting the lens and film plane is a challenge and was so, so close! I need to watch removing the old timey focussing cloth on my head 🥴

Fairly happy otherwise and need to work out why the negs are getting scratched, I suspect it’s the film holder loading process. Second pic is the camera at work, third is a night time test in #norwich, #Norfolk.

It's also the first lunch break I've been able to take in a long while, so it is what it is. Loving it so far and need to learn more, make some adjustments to the bellows frame as I accidentally knocked the front standard giving a little wierd dpeth of field when it should have been locked.

Oh, and developing. No more sloppy habits! clean fingers and clear dust before scanning in. 🤦
