One of the best things I did last year was join the online #FluTracking team.

Each week, I receive an email asking if I've had any symptoms of #COVID19 or flu, and if I've had any #COVID19 or flu vaccinations.

The data is secure, anonymous and really helps track how respiratory illness is behaving in the community.

I love it that Flutracking sends you a certificate at the end of each flu season, thanking you for participating. Then they offer you the opportunity to take a break over the next few months or continue. If I didn’t do this every Monday morning then I would be at a loss - see how easily I have been conditioned!!!!

First, I haven't seen any NZ Covid 19 data in days, and today, the weekly #FluTracking email didn't arrive. 🤔

Flu Tracking is a great tool that assists medical researchers in #Australia and #NewZealand with monitoring #flu and #COVID outbreaks.

Only takes about 30 seconds once a week to fill in. It's a great community service with very little time commitment.

Numbers are heading upwards on the Nz flutracking report for last week. I’m going to take another rat test today - yesterday’s was negative and though my cough has disappeared, I figure it would be better to check again.
