We decided to do today's PhD supervision as a walk-and-talk on a hike up to #Skansen. From there I continued on my own up to the #Fløyen summit, and on to #Skomakerdiket. I had a hot chocolate from the restaurant in the sun while answering some emails. Regretted not bringing my skis. #Bergen #AcademicChatter

Mid-morning Friday I took the #funicular to #Fløyen to go #skiing (as the forecast looked worse for the afternoon). It started snowing as I reached the top, so I limited the trip to a loop around #skomakerdiket. I had to seek shelter from heavy snow underneath a roofed picnic area along with five strangers and a #goldcrest. The weather improved, so skied back down to #Bergen city center. #birdsofmastodon

Eg og ho trulova overnatta i #Konglen på #Fløyen i natt. Det er ei hytte som henger i tretoppane (som ei kongle). Følgeleg vaiar den då fram og tilbake ved røyrsle og vind.

Tilbake på bakkeplan kjenner eg at det no er rart at bakken står stille.
