Recientemente han publicado la versión 0.2.0 que podéis descargar, en formato AppImage, desde su GitHub.

Hace unos días se ha publicado una nueva versión de LACT con mejoras en la interfaz de usuario y con soporte para el editor de curvas para ajustar las frecuencias y el voltaje en tarjetas gráficas Nvidia.
Con LACT puedes obtener información, hacer over locking y ajustar los ventiladores de tu GPU en Linux.

Blender es un referente del software libre. Con cada versión ha ido modernizándose, pero por desgracia hubo algunas partes que se eliminaron y una de ellas era el Blender Game Engine que permitía crear videojuegos en Blender.
Por fortuna un grupo no oficial de programadores se ha dedicado a añadir versiones mejoradas del BGE a Blender en un fork llamado UPBGE.
La última versión se basa en Blender 5 y es la 0.50

@sammypanda I also like playing 0AD but did you catch the white supremacist signalling in one of the map descriptions? Its the one called White Cliffs of Dover or something and talks about foreigners "invading britain" by coming over the english channel and its a 1v5 map

The whole game still doesn't look pretty but I've learned with FLOSS games to ignore the looks and focus on evaluating gameplay. At least in mineclonia the default texture pack is nice

The whole game still doesn't look pretty but I've learned with FLOSS games to ignore the looks and focus on evaluating gameplay. At least in mineclonia the default texture pack is nice

Publicado Goverlay 1.7.0 con una gran cantidad de mejoras.
Vamos a destacar la capacidad de activar, con un solo click, la emulación de Raytracing para tarjetas gráficas viejas de AMD, la configuración de HDR y GameMode, así como el uso de FP8 con Optiscaler para tarjetas gráficas con arquitectura RDNA 3 (la misma que usará la nueva Steam Machine).

Ayer se publicó una nueva versión de la veterana biblioteca multiplataforma SDL.
Gracias a ella los programadores pueden desarrollar emuladores, game engines y videojuegos que funcionan con la misma base de código tanto en Linux como en multitud de plataformas. ¡En la versión 3.4.0 incluso incluye cambios para la PlayStation 2!

2b2t should be held accountable by the people not a faceless corporation. Microsoft isn't punishing 2b2t to fight fascism, they likely wont even do anything about this. But even if they do it will be a worrying development that microsoft has legal control over a server you run on your own hardware with your own money
This is why I play Mineclonia on Luanti because its a FLOSS project the project has no technical ability to prevent you from running a server, I have a server with a friend, most minecraft features are implemented and its very fun for us.
Reminder that microsoft bans servers/mods that put guns or adult content into the game according to their EULA, and is currently being sued for unenforceable terms of the EULA

took hours more to realise you can fly by holding sprint and jump at the same time, you can continue flying even when the stamina runs out, I'm p sure this isn't intended as there is a jetpack item

A recent update in Luanti allows for larger structure generation, Mineclonia has finally been able to add proper nether fortresses and I think also bastions and end cities but I haven't found any on my new world yet
