Rarely have I felt older than when #EAFC26 was finally installed on my #PS5 today (first footie since #FIFA20 ), and I seriously had a hard time managing to simply start a friendly game.
Apparently, #EA thinks this is a rather unusual request.I wasn't looking for microtransactions, endless options menus, tiring unnecessarily specific game modes, trading cards, EA news(?), or Some Annoying Thing Available With Your Online Account.
The way to just playing a friendly was irritatingly long. WTF?

South African rugby players go head-to-head in eSports FIFA 20 tournament hosted online by Mettlestate - but it won't be live
Rugby players from various professional South African teams have signed up to compete in a FIFA 20 tournament as part of the Vodacom Supercup series, run by Mettlestate.
Physical sports matches may be barred during South Africa’s 21-day lockdown, but professional rugby players will still be able to go head-to-head this week in an eSports tournament.
The tournament is not restricted to professional rugby players only and, according to Mettlestate, 126 people have registered to participate. Matches are not streamed live, but Louzada said that they will release edited recordings of the matches on Vodacom’s social channels and SuperSport.
Well the "non-live" really takes the excitement out of it I'm afraid. FIFA Ultimate QuaranTeam between 128 international teams is streaming live on Twitch.
