I have created a new milestone for #ferium : Version 5. The goal is feature updates, these have stagnated in the past 2 years, and I'd love to get to implementing these soon.

I'm working on a massive rewrite of #ferium 's version resolution system.
You will be able to specify detailed filters for the profile and each individual mod, filter by release channel, and pin a mod to a specific version. And you will get better error messages about why version resolution failed.

Made the mistake of trying to update my #Minecraft server version. Forgot that mods are basically a dependency hell based on a random number generator. Then when I eventually got that mess sorted out (thanks to #ferium!) trying to connect to the server just spams the screen with JSON - something I have never seen happen in 10 years of playing this stupid game. -
#ferium will (very soon) be able to scan your output directory and automatically add the mods there. You will not need to manually configure your mods anymore!

#ferium v4.6.0 was released yesterday, with the ability to add multiple mods at once! It can add as many mods as you want, and will only make a maximum of 3 network requests (one for each platform)
There was also a handful of bug fixes and code improvements.

#ferium v4.5.1 has been released with support for the #neoforge mod loader, coloured output on conhost (command prompt and powershell), significantly faster command startup, and much improved verbose listing.
New packages for Void Linux XBPS and Gentoo Portage had been added and are now mentioned in the readme.

I'm back from my development hiatus! #ferium has received a new update! `v4.5.0` has many improvements to the CLI interface; including tons of aliases for subcommands, which should make it more intuitive to use, and a couple of minor features.
