Over time, I've realized that a primary goal in my art is to not only feel seen myself but also for others to feel seen as well. I want my works to hit people in a way that gives them pause and makes them wonder how someone knew such an intimate detail about them and their feelings. This goal is very much still a work in progress, but I am enjoying the journey and the process of experimentation and expression.
