10 days and 2.639km later we're back home in Graz. We had a fantastic time in Utrecht, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Scheveningen/Katwijk aan Zee.
Especially thanks to the #cssday people for the great memories. ❤️

The #CSSDay community had incredibly helpful feedback about <meta name=text-scale>.
Lots of different ideas for how to stop headings from scaling at the same rate as body text.
Good feedback on how the large text on mobile will be a problem for languages with very long words, like German.

Anyone else suffering post-#cssday lurgy, or is it something I picked up on one of my flights?
(I would say it’s giving me an opportunity to go through my notes + play with new shiny, but the combination of medication + cold makes me stoopid, so trash YouTube it is!)

I'm still thinking about #CSSDay. Seeing old friends and members of the CSSWG who I don't normally get to meet in person.
But more importantly, talking to all the attendees. We're so privileged to be part of a world wide community that want to make the web a better place for everyone.

I was telling people to go to #SotB2027 and that I would be there too as I do have a ticket!
But my brain immediately corrected me and I went off-script adding "wait no, I'm going to see The Rasmus", on the #CSSDay stage of all places.
So yeah, I've reset the counter on https://ohhelloana.blog/now 😁

To the observation someone made that there are too many white people and men at #CSSday (no surprise I would say for a tech event unfortunately), i would have hope for a response of the organization to be at something like “let’s see what can be done at the local scale of the event to counter-balance the systemic issues of our society, so that a more diverse panel of people can attend”.
But since the response is “don’t come then”, then I won’t try to come I guess 🤷♀️ -
