  1. Well Isn’t That Convenient

    A Helpful Feature, Apparently

From time to time, the platform takes it upon itself to tidy things up. Conversations are reordered. Posts are rearranged. Certain items are gently placed where they will be most “useful.”

This is presented as organization. Efficiency. A thoughtful effort to ensure users see what matters most, without the burden of deciding for themselves.

    On Knowing Better

The assumption is comforting. Someone, somewhere, has assessed importance on the user’s behalf. Priority has been assigned. Relevance has been calculated.

One need only trust that the judgment was sound.

    Polite Intervention

Older posts may quietly disappear from view. Newer ones may be elevated. The sequence changes without fuss or announcement, sparing everyone the awkwardness of explanation.

After all, it would be rude to ask why something was moved.

    A Small Observation

One might gently note that rearranging another person’s words would normally require permission. In polite company, such liberties are discussed in advance.

But this is not a dinner table. This is a feed.

And bless their heart, they’re only trying to help.
