Estoy probando #Fedistar by @h3poteto, en Debian 13 , nada mal su desempeño con las multicuentas y multicolumnas, en mi caso, Mastodon y Friendica.

besides the webapp, what clients are you using for #mastodon? I found #Tuba and #Fedistar, first one is Gnome-ish so I preferred it, while Fedistar lacks some polishing, imo

Sprawdzal ktos jak sie korzysta z #Fedistar.a i jak tam wyglada obsluga #Friendica? Ta platforma chyba nie ma widoku wielokolumnowego (czy sie myle?), a przeciez Fedistar jest typowo pod to robiony 🤔

Finding out the Hard way that, although Fedistar lets you Bookmark stuff, it doesn't actually let you access your stack of Bookmarks 🤦 .

I've tried every menu, my avatar thumbnail both Left & Right clicks but nope, no Bookmarks.

No, they're not hiding in the well hidden Lists option.

Time to find a different PC app unless someone knows a way to get to the Bookmarks?

Weil sich die Timeline nicht aktualisiert, hatte ich zuerst das #cli Programm #tut in Verdacht. Doch bei zwei anderen Konten war alles in Ordnung. Also die #GUI Software #fedistar gestartet. Auch hier dasselbe Bild, der Stream dieser Instanz behielt den Status von direkt nach dem Start. Keine Ahnung, was man als #Admin in der #Mastodon Software selbst verkehrt einstellen kann, aber hier bei todon.nl ist irgendwie der Wurm drin.

I just got "Fedistar" on my laptop, as I use several accounts. (yes I know I can use containers in Firefox to access different accounts on the same instance :ablobcatwink: ) I have no idea if I will use it much, but it looked nice to give it a try. For me, it would be a bit easier to use I guess, if the horizontal scrollbar would be a bit wider, so my silly eye-hand coordination would find it easier to use with the mouse...

Anyone ever used Fedistar? Found any pros/cons?

Been using Fedistar for a few days now. It does a lot right, but it is not good at displaying threads.

When I click on a post in Sengi, it (usually) shows me the whole thread. Fedistar sometimes does that, but usually it just shows me the post, without any replies, or the post that it's replying *to*. Sengi fails sometimes, but it's much more reliable.

I also really wish Fedistar would tag bot accounts and visually indicate whether a post has replies, like Sengi does.
