🛡️ Security-Check: Mein Setup für GoToSocial & Matrix (VPS -> Tailscale -> Proxmox)

Hallo Fediverse! 👋

Ich habe meine eigene Instanz unter https://social.planetbotler.de erfolgreich an den Start gebracht. Bevor ich in den Regelbetrieb gehe, brauche ich mal ein technisches "Know-How" von euch zum Thema Hardening.

Mein aktueller Stack:
🔹 Public Gateway: VPS (Root aus, SSH-Key-Only, UFW aktiv).
🔹 Der Tunnel: Tailscale-Verbindung vom VPS direkt zum heimischen Proxmox.
🔹 Reverse Proxy: Nginx Proxy Manager (NPM) auf Proxmox für SSL & Routing.
🔹 Dienste: GoToSocial & Matrix laufen in isolierten Containern/VMs.

Meine Fragen an die Experten:
1️⃣ Ist der VPS als einzige "Tür" zum Internet für eine Heimnetz-Isolation ausreichend?
2️⃣ Sollte ich am Proxmox-Node noch weiter abtrennen (VLANs / Tailscale ACLs)?
3️⃣ Gibt es in dieser Kette blinde Flecken, die ich absichern sollte?

Ich freue mich über jeden Tipp, jede Kritik oder auch nur ein kurzes "Passt so!" von euch. 🚀

Can someone help a #feddit newbie? I tried to create an account on feddit.social, and it working ok, but after swapping out the avatar and banner a bit, suddenly I got an error message saying it cannot find my account, and the account may have been deleted or moved.

What did I do wrong? And who should I contact about that?

I dunno, the #piefed app wasn't working for me at all on my laptop, only on my phone. I made the mistake of signing out of piefed on my laptop and when I tried to sign in again, it said no such username exists.

Ho creato un programma in #Python che combina dei “geomorfi” creati dall'utente per generare una mappa in maniera casuale. È un modo semplice per creare delle mappe per dei giochi di ruolo.
Non è niente di che, ma forse potrebbe risultare utile a qualcuno che si è trovato nella mia stessa situazione (creare una mappa a tema, partendo da dei pezzi base).
Come posso fare? Su #Mastodon? Un post su #Feddit?
Esiste qualcosa di federato per pubblicare del codice?

Ich hab vor ner Weile empfohlen bekommen, mal auf feddit zu schauen, weil mich Diskussionen zu digitaler Souveränität interessierten. Habe jetzt die meisten Links und Beiträge durch und allermeistens werden da einfach Artikel reingeklatscht, auf die aber niemand oder fast niemand reagiert.
Ganz anders wenn ich über die Websuche nach "Reddit zu digitaler Souveränität" suche. Haufenweise Diskussionen und Hauptpostings dazu.
Mach ich was falsch oder ist feddit in dem Bezug einfach unrelevant?
(Was ja echt ironisch ist, dass auf ner offenen Plattform nicht über digitale Souveränität diskutiert wird....).
