Watched Farha yesterday.

It's a beautifully simple film about a family during the Nakba in Palestine. The father is the mayor of the little village and we follow how his daughter manages once the British leave and then the Israelis arrive.

This is a true story.

It's harrowing in a few places but worth watching and considering that all this is happening again, right now.

@engineerleeh I just saw #Farha. Fantastic acting and storytelling.

If there’s something I can say I can take from the movie is indignation. How the hell did the powers that be back then allowed all this to happen? And how on this date does this continue to happen?!

Newly released #Netflix movie #Farha depicts the true story of the #Nakba, when 800,000 Palestinians were ethnically cleansed by Israel in 1948.

Just finished watching 'Farha' on Netflix and it was a very hard but a MUST watch. Especially if you are unsure about the Palestine/Israel situation and what happened in 1948- and what is still happening today.
