Out on deck for “Cover Saturday” and one helluva nice job by members of the Gin Blossoms, Toad The Wet Sprocket and Vertical Horizon on one of personal favorite REM tunes that was in my regular rotation at my first radio gig out yonder in western Nebraska when it was released in 1985. I want that Iron Maiden tee but mine won’t be sleeveless. 😁

You just named two of my favorite bands from the past. I was fortunate enough to see U2 twice. What emotional heartfelt shows they put on. But then, man- Bono got hair plugs, the whole Red thing. I don’t really choose them much anymore either.REM has such a timeless feel, great harmonies, interesting compositions.
