The operator is completing the rollout of its new Class 730/2 electric trains on routes between London and Milton Keynes and along the Trent Valley Line to destinations in #Staffordshire, #Warwickshire and #Buckinghamshire.
The longer trains will provide around 5,700 extra seats each weekday, increasing capacity on LNR’s Euston routes by 20%. Trains being replaced will instead be used to lengthen Birmingham services, creating more than 14,000 additional weekly seats.
LNR is also offering 50% off advance fares to London for travel in June. Timetable changes include a new weekday direct service between Walsall and Euston and two extra Saturday evening services between Birmingham and Liverpool.

From 2 March, the Assisted Travel Lounge will be refurbished, increasing seating from 18 to 27 and upgrading lighting, flooring, furniture and information screens. During the works, assistance will operate from a temporary area near platforms 11 and 12.
A two-week trial of adverts on the outer panels of the main departures screen will begin, with the central section reserved for train information. Any revenue will be reinvested.
Later in March, a new customer service hub will open on the concourse, bringing staff together in one visible location. Additional seating will also be added on the concourse and mezzanine, including improvements to the quiet lounge.
