It's #autumn and a #redbreast has found my #garden. The past few days he sneakily comes around when the tits, doves, and house sparrows aren't looking. Today I finally caught him on camera.
Meanwhile the musjesmob is so aware of the feeding, they're watching. When I open the bucket of food they stop their usual chirp, and once I filled it a different chirp starts. Smart little guys.
My partner saw a hunting bird in front of the house the other day. He called me but I only saw it quickly fly off and couldn't identify it. With the many kinds of falcons, eagles, harriers, and buzzards in my country it's hard to tell. Even with half of them leaving in winter, there are many left (and with the hot after-summer some might still be around anyways).
