One local estate sale, omg, was so fascinating:
Vacuum tubes, some big, size of football, sign says "assorted lightbulbs".
A bedroom that had been converted to a library, with rows in the middle too. Didn't see a card catalog.
Display shelf with sexy naked cheetah woman statuette!
I said, "Wut dis? Errrr."
Room with many many so many teddy bears. Online obit said, deceased was well known in teddy bear scene! "Will miss her!"

Estate sale haul! About $50 for all of this.
When I got there I was number 70 on the list so I didn't think there would be much left. Switch games were listed, but they were just empty cases. I passed on Metroid Prime 2 for $30.
I found the controllers in a giant tangled pile of cables. I still need to test them. We had a small group trying to help each other find specific cables.

I now surprise own a Casiotone MT-100. Electronic Musical Instrument.
Ten US dollars today at the sale. A fraction of what it's worth.
Functions work well, it is gunked up tho, the volume pot is nasty dirty and the speaker sucks. Should be a great cleanup job!
And within 10 minutes it's already a blast to play with.

Driving about, I am a sucker for a #yardsale. Or an #estatesale .
Saw one, swung the car about, went in.
Got serving dishes. A stainless steel pan with lid. Didn't get bottle opener.
A CD player with tape cassette!

Just so I don't have to hear another YouTube ad shouting about "20lb of toxic poop is inside you now!" or "If you have tinnitus, that's the sound of your brain rotting!"

My wife and I went to an estate sale that was 50% off today. Some prices were inflated, but a found a few deals.
I paid $6 for a sleeping bag, a metal file, and some over ear hearing protectors.
Side note: The house also had an office in the basement and it looked cozy.

Lesson learned. Hiring an #estatesale company was a mistake. Not sure if they are lazy or just crooks but with the prices that things are being sold for in their online auction we would have been better off holding a #yardsale 😡
