If #empanada (Spanish #pastel, equivalent to Makassar's Jalangkotte and Manado's Panada 😍🤩) could make it to NLC's streetfood challenge, had I been there I could have made risoles instead. Isiannya serba protein (telur, mayo, beef sliced) biar makin gachoorrr 🤤

Risoles emang lebih ke jajanan pasar, cemilan some sort of gitu ya. Bapake Gordon bilang kalau #streetfood menurut definisi beliau harus memenuhi prinsip "grab-and-go", jadinya gak salah dong kalau gue ngide begitu?!

9th Ave #Food #Festival! #FriedOreos were so rich I only had two. The others are in my fridge. Went back to the burger place & told the nice woman at the register how I got the three pack of mini pistachio Bundt cakes & they were sooo good. She seemed surprised, smiled & thanked me. (I still have two in the fridge.)

Flavien vogue en bus de nuit pour la première fois. Un trajet très confortable, dû à l'assise. “Empanadas de Calabaza”, which I suppose translates into “Pumpkin Turnovers” or “Pumpkin Pasties”. They’re sweet but not overly so, and have a bread-like shell that doesn’t easily flake or crumble, so, you know, portable. They’re great alone, or with milk or coffee, and quite addictive, and … ‘scuse me, I gotta put on my shoes and head over to the nearest #Mexican #pastry shop.
