As mentioned before, she's a kind of "dark scholar" and has sought out many an artifact or antiquity she's learned of through her wanderings. At first, it was to find a way to save her lost "sister" Raksha-daro, who had fallen to the Bent Dance, but eventually she started to do it to sate her own curiosity. Especially after her own near-fall, and even more so after meeting another khajiit close to her heart, who had suffered a similar loss once upon a time. Helping him move on also helped her let go of what had happened so many years before.

Still, not all leads pan out. For example, this one did lead her to some ruins, but they were far too new to contain the object she had heard word of.

Some folks have the weirdest sense of entitlement to things other people make. I want this thing, why do I have to spend money on it? I should just get it!

Capitalism has a myriad of excesses, some of which desperately need correcting. But that you might have to spend some time doing makework in a game you’re already playing to get a glowy skin for your digital greatsword is not one of them.

Saw a post complaining that a change that the #ElderScollsOnline game made is a part of an ongoing money grab, and I’m not sure I have an opinion on that. I mean, they *do* need money, to run the servers and pay their staff and all, and their rates don’t seem excessive to me, but ok.

But they use, as a big example, a thing that is free in the game. “Do these activities, get free stuff!” It’s, like, the opposite of charging money.

I want to ask what they mean, but that way lies madness. 🛑

Criminy, I actually feel poisoned. That was too much coffee, I’m not 25 anymore.

I can’t even nap it off, I’ve got to have lunch and do my weekly #ElderScollsOnline game with my family. And not be so wired that I snap at my mother when she interrupts me for the 5th or 6th time in a row. (Lovely person, but she’ll definitely gotten more interrupty in the last few years.)

Sigh. 😔
