Rebecca Wisent goes through a rational analysis of the causes of the LA fires and the fact that there's a reason the Santa Ana wind season is called fire season, and it's not because there are too many Democrats. We want to blame someone and so we don't learn how to avoid or mitigate disasters, from hurricanes to wild fires. Pointing fingers may satisfy our anger but don't provide a solution. We blame someone and then act as if that solved things. Meanwhile we learn nothing.
