    And how about organizing society to support people getting independent from Big Oil?

    Big Oil won't feel you staying at home if the governmental subsidies continue to flow. Or if your neighbour needs a car to get to her job because there is no public transport.
    We need collective action. Even for facilitating sustainable livelihoods at the individual level.
