James Kirkpatrick presenting, but this is the the M.Sc. work of Arvid Gonzalez (now core-logging in n. QC). Other authors are myself and Caroline Seyler (U. Minnesota).Arvid found that infiltrating mafic melt reduces the preserved strain in mantle olivine.
