Hiroshimaite is an exotic product of the historic Hiroshima nuclear explosion at the end of World War Two. It is similar in nature to trinitite from the Trinity explosion during the Manhattan Project. Hiroshimaite is much more rare than trinitite.

Tous les modules d'« AmphiCalc-1 » destinés au calcul et à la classification des amphiboles ont été révisés. La saisie des valeurs pour déterminer la teneur en Fe₂O₃ et calculer les valences a été améliorée et simplifiée. Les calculs sont désormais effectués directement lors de la saisie. De plus, la valeur recherchée peut maintenant être déterminée plus rapidement à l'aide d'un curseur.
Malheureusement, il y a des problèmes avec les navigateurs basés sur Chromium (par exemple Vivaldi). Firefox et ses dérivés fonctionnent. Désolé ! Je vais essayer de régler ce problème dès que possible.

All components of “AmphiCalc-1” used for the calculation and classification of amphiboles have been revised. The process of entering values to determine the Fe₂O₃ content and calculate valences has been improved and simplified. Calculations are now performed immediately as values are entered. In addition, the desired value can now be determined more quickly using a slider.
Unfortunately, there are issues with Chromium-based browsers (e.g., Vivaldi). Firefox and its derivatives work fine. Sorry! I'll try to fix this as soon as possible.

Die Eingabe von Werten zur Bestimmung des Fe₂O₃-Gehaltes und zur Berechnung der Valenzen wurde verbessert und vereinfacht. Berechnungen werden jetzt direkt bei der Eingabe durchgeführt. Außerdem lässt sich der gesuchte Wert nun mittels eines Schiebereglers schneller ermitteln.
Leider gibt es Probleme mit Chromium-basierten Browsern (z.B. Vivaldi). Firefox und Derivate funktionieren. Sorry! Ich versuche, das so schnell wie möglich zu reparieren.

Ce week-end, en me baladant brièvement dans le vallon du torrent de Roche Noire, entre les cols du Lautaret et du Galibier (Hautes-Alpes), je suis tombé sur ce caillou strié qui me paraît curieux. D'où viennent ces rainures ? Dont beaucoup font le tour de la pierre ? Des veines d'un minéral qui s'est dissous ? Mais il devrait en rester au fond ?
Le résultat d'une érosion glaciaire ? Mais dans ce cas je ne vois pas comment les rainures seraient si nettes et feraient le tour... Quelqu'un a une idée ?

La cinquième et dernière partie d'« AmphiCalc-1 » pour le calcul et la classification des amphiboles est désormais en ligne : « Amp15RX » pour le calcul des compositions d'amphiboles sur la base de 15 cations sans sodium et potassium ; avec le calcium seulement en position B. Ce calcul est particulièrement adapté aux amphiboles Fe-Mg.
AmphiCalc-1 calcule automatiquement à partir d'analyses par microsonde les oxydes, les cations, la composition chimique, la répartition Fe²⁺ et Fe³⁺, ainsi que d'autres paramètres des amphiboles. Les résultats peuvent être téléchargés sous forme de fichier csv. Les diagrammes suivants pour la classification des amphiboles sont créés automatiquement et peuvent être téléchargés sous forme de fichiers svg : diagramme de Leake, diagramme ACF, diagramme AFM.

The fifth and last part of “AmphiCalc-1” for calculating and classifying amphiboles is now online: “Amp15RX” for calculating amphibole compositions based on 15 cations without sodium and potassium; calcium only on position B. This calculation is particularly suitable for Fe-Mg-amphiboles.
AmphiCalc-1 automatically calculates the oxides, cations, formula occupancy, Fe²⁺ and Fe³⁺ distribution, and other parameters of amphiboles from microprobe analyses.
