Unrelated to my last set of posts, but here is another coyote pic from the weekend. He was cute.

#Wolves doing okay again today. Some howling happened today, but otherwise the summer-like warm weather meant most of them were laying low.
We actually have three #coyotes here as well, but it's been difficult for me to get a good picture. I managed to get one of this guy today before we opened. They're not quite a social as the wolves, so the three we have don't share enclosures.
Fun fact: eastern coyotes like our's, from the Eastern United States, are actually about 13% wolf.

It's not uncommon to see the eastern coyote around Hamilton, but once every couple years I see one of these rare blonde coloured coyotes.
Found this one in April of 2021 near Mohawk Sports Park.
