During the #EAA2023 in Belfast we gave a workshop on Agent-Based Modeling for Archaeologists as part of an @EUErasmusPlus project. Saxion works with Leiden University, Aarhus University and Landward Research on this.
I really enjoyed seeing the interested participants working diligently through our tutorials, as well as some interesting discussions on #ABM
It was rewarding and fun at the same for time.

We found evidence for extensive mobility among the livestock of these hunter-farmers 🐄 🤩 Why were they moving around with their livestock so much? We don't know yet but will keep investigating 😃

Morning #fedifriends of the #archaedon at #EAA2023 ! hope you had a great day yesterday, wish I posted more about all the nice talks, thought provoking ideas, amazing chats, etc, etc, I had yesterday but you know how things are.. so I won't complain yet again about how big are these conf, packed the schedule,.. (& 'maybe' busy finish my presentation 🙈🙈) but wish you a great 2nd day! (and hope your head isn't hurting too much after all the hard thinking -lol, meant the drinks obviously :"D)

Yes, I want to #flyless but reaching northern Ireland from northern Germany ( #EAA2023 ; #EAABelfast) is quite some hassle even when flying today (at least I go to the airport with only public transport). 😒 In the Late #pleistocene the connection would probably have been better at least to the shores of the Irish Sea. 😁

Here are a few more photos from inside of Doc, at the #EAA #AirVenture, yesterday. The front and rear parts of the plane are pressurized but the bomb bays aren't. There is a tube going from the front to the back, to deal with that.
