This album is based on music for the stage show "Image Snatchers Present: Mad Jakale In A Film We Haven't Seen" by Maja Delak from December 2023, recorded, enhanced and improved, reworked, rearranged, remixed, out now on @kamizdat in December 2024 in collaboration with The Feminalz and others.

feeling ... kinda damaged, it's from a lot of work last few days culminating in last evening performance and album release. my body hurts, there's a feeling of content, we managed to bring it out with well executed event. i should write a longer report/reflection asap. there were also a+v recordings made.

i think DRAGX̶FUNK /dɹæɡɑːfʌŋk/ is quite a genrequeer album. I hope to present it well :sparkles_transfemme: together with a lotsa help from my troupe The Feminalz on Thursday (when preorder releases).

We are not anouncing any live stream because I'm out of resources to actually realise it, but we might be able to do a gonzo-style stream as in live hand-cam direct stream without editing and with live space sound. Let's see. If it will happen, I'll announce it here!

i'm so stoked i might cry. not so much because of the cover, but today I kinda finished it all. there are still details and little glitches i'd love to fix, but it's ok. i'm letting it go. (well, no, I still need to do so much around it - if nothing else, the performance on thursday. you are coming, right?!)

yesterday i was going through all the tracks in the local club and noticed one of them had no real subfrequency content on the kick. added additional 2 octave sinewaves in the renoise instrument with a short envelope, and presto, one could feel the kick in the gut.

in a highly unprofessional manner (regarding deadlines only!) my album will be out in a week. 5. december to be precise. I'll publish a preorder in few days and reveal a webcover probably tomorrow. here's a crop from my current notes. one thing's for certain: it containes groovy beats.
