I finished the main game of the HD 2D remake of DQ3. It's not my first time playing DQ3, but it is my first time completing it.
I loved playing it. It's pretty easy to see why people love it so much. I feel like there are certain scenes in this game that would have been absolutely mind blowing in 1988.
The monster wrangler is a very good class. Mine became my main damage dealer for most of late game. It does deceive you into thinking you don't need a priest in the early game, though.
I didn't get a priest until I got to the underworld and some of the earlier fights were ROUGH (not having Kazing or a multiheal gets pretty tough.)
Also, a very pretty game.
