# Magma Dragon

Made using The Monster Dungeon Soup Dragon Creator and the Molten palette.

General Info

- Feet are black because they tend to be burnt or interact with burnt matter.
- Pretty hot
- Breathes fire, coughs ash
- Is sustained by drinking lava erupting from volcanos and magma flowing from volcanos
- Scales and hard parts are made of the materials in the magma and lava they ingest
- Their bodies are not tolarent enough to swim in lava, or be around volcanos for too long. Usually they just live a bit of distance around volcanos.
- Hibrenate and turn to stone if there's a lack of volcanic activity
- When a volcano eurpts they are instantly awaken from their slumber

Mating and Reproduction

- Tend to mate and reproduce shortly after an eruption. The parents leave the eggs somewhere where enough heat can reach the egg. The eggs are made of very tough rock, so the females have to ingest all kinds of tough materials to prepare the egg.
- The females tend to be larger and stronger, since they have to carry the heavy eggs before being fertilized.
- The parents don't really stick around their young, as there isn't much to teach besides "slurp lava" which they are naturally drawn around by instinct.
- The crest, and the spikes were used for defense by their ancestors, but now they are purely aesthetic.
