  4. Kappa Herculis (Marsic)

    This is a lovely, easy-to-split yellow-and-garnet-red double star. Despite their appearance, the two stars are not physically associated. The brighter 5th magnitude component of this optical double is 390 light years away, while the fainter 6th magnitude star is 470 light years distant.

  5. M40 Winnecke 4

    Magnitude 10.11 optical double star located in the constellation Ursa Major. The pair was discovered by Charles Messier in 1764 while searching for a reported nebula. The two stars, HD 238107 and HD 238108, are at distances of 1,013 light-years and 470 light-years respectively.
