A Russian cargo ship that sunk off Spain carried nuclear reactors for North Korea.

Spanish investigators have discovered that the Russian cargo ship Ursa Major that sank in the Mediterranean in 2024 was secretly carrying nuclear reactor components bound for North Korea.

Investigators now believe the vessel may have been deliberately sunk by a Western military using a rare supercavitating torpedo.

Sadly, no view of #comet Tchuchinshan-ATLAS tonight. Clouds near the horizon were specifically right where the comet should appear. But why waste the camera? I took some long exposure photos above the Copper Cliff smelting plant, where #UrsaMajor sits. I also took a photo of the #Moon.

One of the photos shows the view where the comet should be. A small triangle of stars (serpens caput) points down toward the comet and its tail.

#NASA is testing a #solar sail: a thin, 80 m² reflective sheet that uses the pressure of reflected sunlight for propulsion. During a pass, here through #UrsaMajor/ The Big Dipper, the (slowly rotating?) #ACS3 goes from bright to invisible and back, depending on the orientation of the Sun, the sail and the observer. #SpotTheSail
