I wasn't a huge fan of how the Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! anime ended. Instead of leaving it open for another season to continue the series, they should have had an anime original ending and made it a standalone season.

Did you notice that the family names of the three main gals in Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! include the Japanese words for summer, fall, and winter? Where's spring? Does this imply a fourth gal will show up at some point?

I suppose the twist of Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable! being that there are gals in Hokkaido isn't the worst twist I've seen in a rom-com anime. But, it doesn't exactly change much.

The first episode makes me feel like I have just watched an ecchi filled trope disguised as a wholesome romance. And I think I might like it, even with the cringe inclusion of the sticky off-white drinks and teenage fantasies.
The visuals are stunning and those eyes, oh my word!
Generic main character but so far Minami is gorgeous.
P.S. the snow and her skirt made me cold watching this.
