I'm not really even sure what they were going for here. The arguing villains are amusing to begin with but it gets old very fast. At this point it just makes the villains feel incompetent and undermines the sense of the threat #DoctorWho #Dominators

The Council scenes are fairly dull but they do have some nice lines including "better do nothing than do the wrong thing" I just wish that they didn't conflate pacifism with indifference. This story needs more nuance #DoctorWho #Dominators

I was trying to think what this reminded me of and it is the TV Comics. Don't get me wrong it is like one of the better TV Comics but still not really a compliment. I struggle to believe that this was written by the same team as Snowmen and Web #DoctorWho #Dominators

The character of Cully is fine but I think the casting choice was odd (I keep using that word). He is supposed to be a young hot head and reactionary and yet the actor was 34 at the time (and arguably looks older). It just throws me off when I'm watching #DoctorWho #Dominators

The Doctor and Jamie spend most of the episode being examined and tested by the Dominators. Jamie has 1 heart and a simple brain with signs of recent rapid learning which I thought was a nice touch. They are sure the Doctor will be the same so dont test him #DoctorWho #Dominators

I had fond memories of this story but it isn't what I remember. The only word springing to mind is odd. From the adventure tourism junkies, to the students who can't even really remember why they are on a deadly island to the petulant villains. Just odd. #DoctorWho #Dominators
