A 3 km #Thanksgiving hike with Harley on a beautiful fall day - 15°C with slightly overcast skies. We're thankful that we have a community beach only a 5 minute walk from our house. The 50+ Canada Geese resting in the water this morning are thankful that Turkeys are a traditional Thanksgiving dinner item.

Harley decided I needed a break from a landscaping project that has monopolized my time. My aching back agreed so we did a 3.5 km hike around the neighbourhood, including a stop at the beach.
Beautiful day with sunny skies, 15°C and a healthy cool breeze at 22 km/h. -

Crime history - Sept 5th, 2015. Max the cat exhibiting a lack of discipline. Riley the Golden is either pretending it's not happening, or is the lookout.
#RIP to both.

Most dogs, but Harley doesn't like sharing her sleeping spots with other furry family members...

We took advantage of the break in the weather to get out for a short hike. We're celebrating several important family events this weekend, with back to back to back large dinners and lunches. Gotta work off some calories.
More rain arriving this morning. Currently 17°C but humid with light wind. -
Harley has decided that she doesn't need to risk entering the living room and is very comfortable in the hallway. Casper can wait...

You inspired me to look for the oldest pet photo I had in my archive and came up with this from 1998. Kelsey the dog and Marble the cat enjoying the backyard.

My daily hike with Harley has been shorter this week due to this #HeatWave. We just completed a 1.5 km walk to our community beach and back. Currently 30°C, on its way to 35° later today.

It only looks like Harley's butt is exhausting a puffy cloud. But it's shedding season and I'm trying to comb out what I can.

Harley and I went for a walk but kept it short - it's 32°C here in #Innisfil, feeling like 41°C with humidity. She needed a drink after leaving dozens of liquid messages for local dog friends.
In our small neighborhood of maybe 150 ish homes and cottages there were 2 HVAC service vans parked out front of presumably very warm houses. Happy #CanadaDay. -
Beautiful day for a 3 km hike around the neighbourhood today. Sunny and 14°C after a chilly start this morning.
A family of geese were not happy about sharing the beach with Harley today. We left early because Harley wanted to check them out and didn't understand the warning honks. -
Harley wondering why I'm on the wrong side of the fence.

It's "finish that frickin fence" day. Started the project last weekend and lacked the motivation to spend more than 2 hours a day on building it since then. Golf, hikes with Harley, naps, and kayak shopping all got in the way.
Cutting the last 40 pickets this morning (over 120 in total) and l can fill in the last 3 panels. Then the temporary dog fence can be removed.
