Been working on de-Amazon-ing... now I'm wondering what Audible alternatives there are.
The library is out because I listen to books while I fall sleep and it can take me a month+ to actually get thru. Needs to be a format with like two month loan periods or somewhere I can get books for a reasonable price.
I know Kobo sells audiobooks, but I wanna know what folks are using and where they're getting books.

@JoostThissen @IndyRichard I closed my Amazon account a few weeks ago. So far it has actually been a positive experience (a whole load of "small" positives that add up). I'll try to write up what these are as time allows, as it may help others to #ditchAmazon.

@AlexVoss I'm not sure that there's a single market place as robust as Amazon. However, you could always find the product you're looking for, on Amazon, and head back to the vendor's site to make the purchase, there. It'll help cut the middle man out of the picture and support the vendor (which could be a mom and pop brick/mortar store). #DitchAmazon
