I've DeAmazoned another device, a Echo Show 5 1st Gen this time. I wish I could find an 8 inch variant, I know it's rootable as well. I wish there were better launcher options for these sorts of devices.

Finally got rid of Amazon's spy software on my Echo Show 5 2nd Gen (What a mouthful!) and replaced it with LineageOS 18.1. Wouldn't you figure, it's suddenly much snappier! I finally got around to putting Navidrome on my server for my music strteaming needs!

-Added it to ZoteroIt was *much more expensive* than on Amazon, but we all know how Amazon keeps their prices so incredibly low, therefore supporting an EU-based infrastructure felt like doing the right thing.
So far it seems a wonderful book.

Update: I've shuffled over to Smart Audiobook Player for the moment, it seems to do what I want (mostly allowing me to set a sleep timer for the book).
In progress: liberating my Audible library via Libation (a free open source app that is removing the DRM from my purchased books so I can import them to SAP.
libro.fm seems to be the best fit for once I want to start purchasing new audiobooks again.

Google - (somewhat complicated - phone is Android) -

YouTube* - still used but 99.9% only used on desktop and only utilising Librewolf with adblock.
Micro$oft Windows? - Not a chance!*No REALISTIC alternative found.
