  1. The creator wanted #Discuit to be pronounced diskette, but all I see is biscuit with a 'd'. Now I'm thinking of a floppy diskette biscuit logo with a bite taken out of it.

  6. @RainbowCookie #Discuit feels much closer to #Reddit than Lemmy does and I read Lemmy daily. It's easier to navigate, feels stable, and there are no weird disappearing comments. I'm not sure #Lemmy or #kbin are ever going to be as polished as Mastodon, so I'd be happy to go there if/when there's a spike in the population.

  11. For those looking for an alternative to Reddit, especially one that's less toxic and a bit simpler, try #Discuit (discuit.net/) It's fully #opensource, though it's not part of the #Fediverse.

  14. A new #TestFlight app for #RedditAlternative #Discuit was recently released, and it’s starting to feel so familiar again 🥲.

It’s been super fun watching this place grow over the last month. Definitely my favorite alternative to #Reddit.

  15. @jaybot thanks for sharing. does look like an early product compared to and other altenatives like and based on feature sets here discuit.net/Discuit/post/bztx0. I can’t even see comments.

It looks good on mobile though. Hope the devs make good progress to capture users

  19. I've discovered a very new community called #Discuit. Maybe a very young #Reddit or #Lemmy alternative? Works really smooth but it's in the very beginning. Just in case you're interested on discovering something new, here it is: discuit.net/
