Been playing 'Dino Crisis 2' this weekend, and even though the main stories are noticeably different, it's no secret that the games were heavily inspired by the 'Jurassic Park' films and the dinosaur fad of the 90s in general.
What's funny is that the in-story basic premise used by both franchises to justify getting multiple sequels is pretty much: "We learned nothing from the previous dinosaur incident, so we are once again having yet another dinosaur incident." 🦖

GOG Dino Crisis is on sale and I bought it recently, playing through it rn and I kinda dislike how you need to get to a specific save room in order to save? I guess it's one of those creature comforts modern games have and I feel like hinders older games for me.
Overall though, it's pretty fun (so far) and I wonder where to story will go
(Also I think some outfits for the main character might be too explicit, but maybe that's just me)

Me: It’s hard to justify a second playthrough with a different character or route.
Also me plays a whole another version of the same game.
At least those games aren’t that long. Am I seriously going to play original RE3? Maybe even the original RE1?! That’s true horror!
There’s still Veronica (not the one that explains), where I got stuck at a certain (infamous?) boss. Other than that, I guess my interest in the series would be done (so, 0–3, CV & Revelations 1–2).
There’s also #DinoCrisis.

#CodeViolet looks like a spiritual successor to Dino Crisis, but animations, UI, effects and models look rough at best.
It gives me the opposite vibes of #Expedition33 when it first revealed. Right now looks like a 5/10 experience.
It launches this year, so I have zero hopes for this, like their (very mediocre) previous titles.

Gibt es eigentlich einen Bereich, in dem die Preise für altes Zeug nicht ruiniert sind? 😐 Wollte eine popkulturelle Lücke mit #DinoCrisis stopfen, aber unter 30 Tacken gibt es das nicht auf #Ebay. Schade!
Ich schaue mal in der Stadt, ansonsten wird das nichts.
