Did you know there’s a form of diabetes that doesn’t involve blood sugar? It’s called Diabetes Insipidus.
“Diabetes” basically means “urinates frequently”. “Mellitus”, the form of diabetes most people are familiar with in terms of blood sugar, modifies it as “and it’s tasty”. While “Insipidus” basically means “and it’s not tasty”.
Diabetes used to be tested by tasting pee.
