I really liked The Razor Company's stainless steel razor when I tried it:
https://leisureguy.wordpress.com/2023/03/14/aces-over-8s/
It was out of stock for a while, but now it's available again:
Just to be clear: I get no consideration or remuneration from any shaving-product business. I just like to shave and I like good products. This razor is an example of one.

Lovely shave to start the day right — and ending with a balm.

Grooming Dept Mallard Corretto shaving soap is superb, and I have to say that the Yaqi Knight Helmet razor is wonderfully efficient (albeit not all that comfortable).

A great shaving soap and a wonderful razor make for a fine shave.

A great start to Saturday morning: great shave and excellent coffee.

Some mornings things just go extremely well. And the razor today is remarkably good.

A solar-cycle-related shave in honor of the vernal equinox
This morning is the first shave since the vernal equinox (yesterday afternoon local time), and I used Solstice as the shaving soap — not the same as Equinox, but I don't have a soap name Equinox.
Great shave since this soap is one of my favorites, with the fragrance "Sage, Sweetgrass, Cedar, Rose Absolute, and Benzoin Resin."

A great shave — and the slant razor debate settled.
I'm having fun with Opinionate.io, and today it supported my position on the slant razor.

A regular workaday shave — but still a great pleasure.

Exceptional lather today, and a pleasurable shave — plus a fine mug of coffee.

Special soap for today.
I do love my morning shave, and some mornings enjoy it even more — Monday mornings, for example: shaving a two-day stubble with a slant razor to start the week on a very good note. And Saturday morning shaves lift me into the weekend.

Comparison of two good boar shaving brushes.

Test shaves are always fun — comparing two razor or brushes or shaving soaps or (as today) aftershave.

I wasn't going to do another shaving post so soon, but this double-slant razor changed my mind. I was a little apprehensive, but the razor is extremely comfortable and not at all inclined to nick. I'm going to buy another for my son, and perhaps a spare for me.

How Do You Choose a Double Edge Razor Blade? By Ordering a Sample Pack to Test Different Blades
Finding the perfect double edge razor blade is a bit like finding your perfect mate. It can take a few wrong turns before you get it right. To help ease you through the rocky parts of this new relationship, it is suggested you try a variety of razor blades. Sharpest is not always the best as it depends a lot on the razor and your own skin and beard.

RazoRock Game Changer .68-P Double-Edge Razor - A Solid 316L Marine Grade Stainless Steel Razor For $57.99
"Why did we call this razor the Game Changer? It's really simple! This razor was produced to a standard that is superior to razors which typically costs 4-8 times the price, yet in usual RazoRock fashion, we are bringing you the highest standards of quality at a price everyone can afford. The RazoRock Game Changer is built to last a lifetime, machined from marine grade billet stainless steel, the same way a Swiss watch case is machined. This is a razor you can depend on forever!"
The game-changer here is this is a solid 316L Marine Grade Stainless Steel razor finished to high tolerances (not jewellery polished) for only $57.99. The razor comes in a .68 or .84 head gap (latter being slightly more aggressive) but I see you can also get an optional .84 base plate for $29.99 or order the .68 head on its own as well. There is a choice of six different handles. Each razor has its own unique serial number. https://squeet.me/objects/962c3e100189963083fe541d3b9e57b6dcb7e104 -
Shaving 101 – The Double Edge Razor: Expectations vs. Reality
Here are some common expectations (misconceptions? Myths?) about double edge razors with comments on the reality of the expectation.
There is certainly no going back for me, I'm really happy with my double edge razors (yes I have a touch of RAD as per the article).
