Would it be so very wrong to countenance the denouement of the #DeathTsar Vladimir Putin? The planet would be inestimably better off were he to go. #Putin is a tyrant, a mass murderer guilty of war crimes and genocide. There can be no ‘negotiations’ with somebody so faithless and lacking in human decency. It is about time #Trump understood this.

So, for the third time this year, Trump has been played by #DeathTsar Vladimir #Putin. This seems to be becoming something of a pattern: Trump gets ‘tough’, Putin extends vague promises of peace talks, Trump backs down and Putin continues bombing Ukraine as usual.

Trump’s craven actions will not stop the #TerroristState #Russia any more than the UK’s appeasement of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s stopped Nazi Germany.

Slovakia and Hungary will never give up importing oil from Russia. #Trump knows this and is using oil as yet another pretext to delay imposing sanctions on the much despised terrorist, #DeathTsar Vladimir #Putin. Why does Trump bother? We know and he knows that he will never follow through with his sanctions threats. Europe should recognise that we are on our own at this point. Know this USA, next time you start a war, no more British soldiers will be sent to bleed their lives away on your behalf.

So, President #Trump has moved the goalposts. Instead of dithering again about applying ’severe’ sanctions, he has changed the rules and made sanctions conditional on what the Europeans do. The effect is the same, he has kicked the can down the road, anything to avoid imposing sanctions on bestie, #DeathTsar Vladimir #Putin.

Trump continues to behave like a craven coward. If he had imposed sanctions earlier this year like he said he would, Russia could be on its knees by now. By appeasing Putin, he is making a major conflagration more likely. If he had paid more attention to 1930s history at high school, he would know this.

Instead of adopting this obnoxious attitude with human rights groups, maybe the US could impose sanctions on actual war criminals.

When is Trump going to impose the ‘severe’ sanctions on Vladimir #DeathTsar Putin he keeps boasting about? Oh! He isn’t, even after being taken for a fool by #Putin for the second time this year. For all his bluff and bluster, #Trump is a craven coward who sees nothing wrong with red-carpeting a mass murderer.

So President #Trump says negotiating a permanent peace agreement is the best way to end the war in Ukraine, rather than seek a temporary ceasefire.

Has he asked Ukraine? He appears to have given #DeathTsar Vladimir #Putin a free pass to carry on bombing Ukrainian civilians whilst the details of the peace deal are sorted out. (Whenever that will be.)

As we all knew it would be, Trump’s hard talk was all bluff and bluster. Where now the additional arms for Ukraine? Where now the punitive sanctions against Russia? Smoke and mirrors. #Ukraine #Alaska

After standing idly by whilst Israel’s genocide continues, looking on as Gazans slowly starve to death and the IDF dynamites and bulldozes any buildings and infrastructure that have so far escaped the war, how will we in the (apparently democratic) West look #DeathTsar Vladimir Putin in the eye when his time comes to face justice in The Hague and say “you are guilty of genocide”?

The soldier-on-civilian murders in Bucha, the devastated cities of Mariupol and Popasana, the stolen children - how do we in the West suppose that we have the moral authority to prosecute these crimes when we appear to tolerate them in our supposed ‘allies’? President #Trump is keen to give the impression that he is quite cross with #DeathTsar Vladimir #Putin for the latter’s continued bombing of Ukrainian civilians but we now see that he has ‘paused’ some arms shipments to Ukraine for the dubious reason that the US has left itself short of some weaponry. At the same time, Trump has completely failed to follow Europe in introducing new sanctions on Russia that might curtail Putin’s ability to continue waging his war of aggression.

Can we now agree that Trump is a duplicitous turncoat who would never let doing what is right and good get in the way of earning a few bucks?

So the Slovakian government has called for Russia to be “forgiven for everything”. What - for the 10s of thousands murdered in #DeathTsar Putin’s imperialist war of aggression? For the cities and towns bombed to ruins? For the thousands of children abducted by Russia and for which Putin stands accused of genocide?

There can be no diplomacy, no rapprochement until Russia leaves Ukraine, and none at all until Putin has been removed from power. Putin should no more be welcomed back into the community of world leaders than would Hitler. #Putin

Can we get one thing (or several actually) straight? Vladimir #Putin the #DeathTsar is not a nice man. Nor is he ‘smart’. On the contrary, he is a genocidal megalomaniac and a mass murderer. Instead of reacting to the terrorist atrocity in the way it did and potentially triggering an all-out war, India should have considered whether it was a false flag operation. A bad actor who has normalised relations with the Taliban. Someone who would profit from conflict between Pakistan and India. At last! #Trump may have realised that #DeathTsar Putin has been taking him for a patsy. Something the rest of us realised two months ago. On the other hand, this may be a double bluff to make himself look less bad walking the USA away from Ukraine. Either way, we will know for sure next week.

Characteristically, the Trump regime whines at the assassination of Russian General Yaroslav Moskalik in a car bomb explosion today, even though ukraine has yet to claim responsibility. On the other hand, the regime is silent on the many Ukrainian civilians who have died in Russian missile attacks over the last several days. There is ample evidence that Moshalik has participated in war crimes and some would argue that his denouement was a justifiable war aim. And the regime cannot start whining about Law and ‘due process’ given that it has itself given up on the latter as amply demonstrated by the gentle ways of the ICE.

Perma-angry JD Vance says the USA will ‘walk away’ in the event that Ukraine and Russia fail to agree to peace proposals. Doesn’t the witless #Trump regime realise that this is exactly what #DeathTsar Putin wants? Especially given Vance’s unstated words; that the USA will stop supporting #Ukraine with weapons and intelligence, something it has already shown that it is willing to do.

Zelenskyy is right. There has to be an immediate and full ceasefire before negotiations continue. If #Putin does not agree to this, he should be left in no doubt that Ukraine will continue to be supplied with armaments and full logistical support.

So the #DeathTsar Putin, faithless and cursed, has proposed a ceasefire over the Easter weekend. With absolutely no intention of keeping to the ceasefire himself and knowing that the Trump regime has said that it will walk away from #Ukraine in the event that a peace deal cannot be secured, the Death Tsar will claim that Ukraine reneged on the ceasefire. If #Trump is true to form, he too will blame Ukraine and will probably withdraw material and logistical support for a second time, exactly in line with the mass murderer’s wishes.

Trump has been played by #Putin except that he is too stupid to see it.

The wonder is that Witkoff thinks it’s OK to negotiate with a mass murderer, someone who has been accused of genocide and multiple war crimes, a liar and a thief; a man totally without honour who has shown the world time and again that he cannot be trusted. Then we turn our eyes to the USA, to the Trump agenda and the gentle ways of the ICE which has been disappearing innocent people to the concentration camps of El Salvador and realise that Witkoff’s positive view of #DeathTsar Putin is perfectly understandable for a loyal member of #TeamTrump.

Anyone who has any doubts about Putin’s trajectory should read ‘Foundations of Geopolitics’ by alt-right (some would say fascist) geopolitical philosopher Aleksandr Dugin. Used as a textbook by the Russian military, the book contains a blueprint for the extension of Russian hegemony over the whole of Eurasia.

The neutering and erasure of Ukraine, the absorption of Eastern Europe into Russia’s ‘sphere of influence’, Brexit in the UK, election interference in Europe and the USA, terrorism, sabotage and the spreading of disinformation in the West, and the exploitation and promotion of socio-racial divisions in the USA with the help of ‘useful idiots’ (e.g. Team Trump). It’s all there.

Now is not the time to go soft on Putin. He is guilty of spectacular levels of criminality. He is definitely not our friend. #Trump #Putin #DeathTsar #Russia

It is now a day since #DeathTsar Putin brutally murdered 34 people in Sumy, including children. Has Team Trump been hitting the airwaves in outraged condemnation of Putin’s actions? Has Vance been on Fox Propaganda (sorry - News) to declare Putin a war criminal? Has Witkoff realised at last that, actually, Putin is a very bad man? What about Trump? Has he hastened back from Mar a Lago to sign EOs imposing immediate punitive sanctions on Russia; literally the biggest sanctions anyone has ever seen?

Real estate mogul Steve Witkoff’s reputation as a negotiator rests on his ability to understand the other party’s point of view. Apparently. He should consider, though, that there is no obligation on anybody to understand #DeathTsar Putin’s point of view any more than there is, say, to understand Hitler’s point of view in implementing the Holocaust. Putin is a war criminal, guilty of crimes against humanity and genocide. One does not ‘negotiate’ with such people. He is beyond that. He should be serving a life sentence in a supermax. #Putin.
