Man, they really hate that the shoes keep reappearing at the John A MacDonald trap/statue. How many times have they cleared them now?
I assume the fence they're currently installing is to stop it from happening, along with Indigenous people using his racist ass as a backdrop for protests.
Maybe you should stop worshipping abject garbage. I was literally saying as we rounded the building that white people love "imposing" — both revering the idea of imposing structures and imposing their will.
How often do you hear nonsense about cultures not having imposing architecture as a mark of an inferior culture, as opposed to considering that maybe the obsession with "imposing" is a mark of a deeply psychologically unhealthy culture?
They certainly want that statue to be imposing for its remaining days.
