I really needed a quick, easy book to read and #SycamoreGap by #LJRoss fits the bill. The 2nd installment in the #DCIRyan series. Slightly better than the first, less of the cringe #MillsAndBoon romance, and slightly less preposterous. A standard police procedural detective story that crams every cliche in and romps along at a terrific pace. As in the first book the crimes aren't fully resolved. Can I be bothered to read all 20 books (and counting) to find out who is behind it all? Probably not.
