Muss mal schauen, wie ich das #SOGo (in #Mailcow) beibringe. Aber ich habe gesehen, dass es in #DAVx⁵ 4.5.12 einen Link zur Doku hat. Die wird mir dann sicher weiterhelfen.

This week in #disenshittification :

Finally cut the Gmail cord and moved to #fastmail

Took a few hours of futzing with DNS settings at my registrar, getting to know #thunderbird , and figuring out what to use for calendar because unlike on the dektop #Thunderbird doesn't include the calendar on #android .

Eventually landed on #Etar synced to #fastmail via #DAVx .Setup was quite smooth. Really the biggest time sink was in deciding what to use.

This was one of the big steps towards liberating myself from Google's clutches. I'm very glad it's done.

5:30Uhr das #DAVx weckt mich und sagt, ich kann nicht mehr syncen, weil da nichts ist.😱

Ich mach erstmal Kaffee und schau mal auf den Server, auch die Webseiten sind abgeraucht. Alle so: Datenbankfehler.

Der Kaffee ist fertig und ich will schon Plan B fahren, da meldet sich alles wieder zurück und sagt: Alles Gut

Übung ist das halbe Leben. Ich schau mir die Logs an, dann in den Tag.

@taketwo @Jupp_Schmitz Kalender und Kontakte ist dank #davx und #nexcloud das geringste Problem. Aber der ganze Rest ist Käse.

@Vivaldi The integrated #Mail client. Though I need to say that I'm patiently hoping for more support for #imap folders (creation, moving, subfolders, naming convention,... ). And are we still missing #davx sync for the contacts?

For the all people using #Nextcloud just for #caldav and #cardav have a look at opensource #baikal https://github.com/sabre-io/Baikal It's tiny, easy to setup and works great with #davx and #thunderbird

Mache ich ähnlich, #OfflineCalendar mit #DavX und #Posteo.

Frage an die #nextcloud Nutzenden: wenn ich mehrere Instanzen habe und die auch am Handy verwenden möchte ... Ich hätte in der App nichts gefunden für eine zweite Instanz? Interessanterweise unterstützt zumindest #DAVx mehrere Instanzen für Kalender/Adressbuch. Aber nextcloud selbst? Also die Dateien?
