This year we received funding from the @NGIZero programme, established by @nlnetfdn, to develop version 2.0 of the #DataPackage standard. We thus recognise the extreme importance of NGI in sustaining the vast #digitalcommons ecosystem in Europe.

📦 #DataPackage is a standard for data containerisation, consisting of a set of simple yet extensible specifications to describe datasets, data files and tabular data. It is a data definition language (DDL) and data API that enhances data FAIRness.
