I look forward to your posts (I wish you were on a platform other than masto, however - like maybe Pixelfed, Friendica, Socialhome, or Hubzilla, but that's beside the point). I'm elated to notice them come through every couple of days or so - y'know, I don't scan my entire stream, but I'm just really happy to be able to enjoy a lot of the photos you share.

That's more than I can say for most photography or any artists that I really admire - it just goes without saying that you can be truthful and say you don't like something when you don't, and most of what the people I admire most produce doesn't actually tickle my fancy.

Perhaps a lot of this has to do with me having lived up in Northern California alone and off-grid with a lot of mossy trees (but nothing like the photos you take - it's almost all consuming), or maybe it's just because I've always wanted to just aimlessly explore the kind of countryside you snap photos of. I dunno.

Anyway, I'm just trying to say that I really do like a lot of the photos you share, and it's a privilege to find them in my stream.

If you do move to a Pixelfed or other server, please do ping me k? So I know to follow you there too.

This photo here is just spectacularly stunning. But I gather it's also much colder than I would really enjoy if it was a daily thing, lolz. It sure is pretty from the comfort of my warm chamber here in SoCal though! And it doesn't lessen my urge to go (in the summer) and, ... Aimlessly explore the countryside there someday :)
