Found the most mid spirit ash, the page ashes.

Tried it on the uhh avenue balcony bonfire and they very much act like a fallout companion. Prefers doing range combat with crossbow with an exploding bolt but would get melee if enemies get close.

I'mma try some more to solidify my conclusions

I thought it played well, and I appreciate the "legally distinct from Dark Souls" aesthetic, but I'm not sure I want an #Extraction game in my life right now. I like how #DarkSouls has totally warped my brain when it comes to specing a character. Any time i see any kind of power up for defense or healing in say #Pragmata for example my brain instantly defaults to yeah that's cool but what if I just did not get hit and played better.

Finally managed to beat the infamous Ornstein and Smough bossfight in Dark Souls.

#DarkSouls2 has some really good looking real time lighting, especially considering the game's age.

At first you might think the grid shadows in that ship are just painted on, but whenever I, or the boss that was in here, move thru them, they sweep across our body like they should.

I'm not sure how they accomplished their lighting, but it looks great.

Past in time, a lot of people (I'm include too) said "Dark Souls" is difficult that is not they can't try "Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup". It is stupidity harder than that. One bad step or action and the Death come to you quickly and your progress is over forever.

I've never touched #DarkSoulsII and frankly I'm a little scared of the runbacks. 

I have played some #LordsOfTheFallen but hated the split-realities mechanic.

I've got #Thymesia ready to go on my Steamdeck but originally bounced off it before.

I've been meaning to take another run through #Sekiro as well. Maybe it's time I hit that one up?

So, what has everyone been playing?

I joined a podcast that does one shots on Monday. I am playing an Eidolon: Become Your Best Self game inspired by Persona on Tuesday. I am playing Fellowship 2e on Thursday. My GM is about to finish a Jim McGarva's Strike 2e game on Friday (used Eyes of the Stone Thief). I finished an Eberron game in 5e last Saturday that I ran for a year. A former player will now run Gundam 5e alternating with another playing running D&D 5e's Icewind Dale. Sunday I run Dungeon World using the Plangea setting. And I'm considering a playtest podcast for my RWBY meets Dark Souls & Bleach game, Wild Hunt, on Wednesday.
