I'm watching the #DankPods #Linux vs #Windows Linux Summer Games Video right now and #Bazzite needs to sort out their driver issues - It's making you, and by extension everyone else - Look bad.
Like, really bad.
Half the time his nVidia GPU's were on LLVMPipe, and the other half they were on NVK.
It should be the 580 and 590 drivers, because
- LLVM is an emergency backup
- NVK is not ready yet and shouldn't be pushed in production.
This is actually tragic.
And yes he confirmed that he was using the ISO's specific for those devices.
I am legitimately upset about this.

I should start a YouTube channel under the name of ‘Max Whack’ and review all the headphones I’ve accumulated over the last few years.

I picked up some KZ ZSN Pro X Headphones (recommended by #dankpods) and they are comfortable, cheap earbuds for the #steamdeck. My wife is going to appreciate this when she's sleeping 😂

My one major gripe with most #SmartTV and SmartTV-adjacent devices (aside from privacy stuff and the tendency to put big ads on their UI):
They keep putting dedicated buttons for a bunch of streaming services onto the remotes without any way to redefine the keys.
Sorry, Roku, but I do not use AppleTV+, or Disney Plus, or Spotify, and I do not use Netflix often enough for a button.
However, I would love a #Jellyfin button and a Floatplane button for when I get the hankering for some #dankpods

A thought I've been having about the #steamdeck lately (also after watching a lot of #dankpods let's be honest) is that it's very similar to the iPod in terms of why it's appealing.
What I mean is, It's not the most powerful thing, it's not the cheapest thing, but the UI doesn't suck. Early MP3 players had awful UIs. Windows is an awful UI for handheld gaming nuggets, and the other players in the market seem to be just using Windows and some kind of shell over it.
