Stary bangier densowy na sobotę 😊 nietypowo melodyjnie jak na mnie, ale mam wielki sentyment do tego kawałka. Ostatnio zrobiło się o nim głośno jakieś dwa lata temu, albowiem jego twórca Tomcraft zmarł (nie wiem, co mu się stało, chłop 3 lata ode mnie młodszy).

Co jednak ciekawe, mi się przypomniał jeszcze wcześniej, w jakimś współczesnym secie, takim bardziej hard, i myślę: ooo, to coś z najntisów, kojarzę... Twórcy na początek ni wuja - bo wiecie, jak to drzewiej bywało, człowiek poznawał muzę na imprezach, jak ktoś zagrał, znaczy przytargał płytę fizycznie z Niemiec.

Wracając, kawałek (żadne najntisy, okazało się, 2002-2003) stał się swego czasu mega radiowym hiciorem i dorobił wielu miksów. W załączniku świeży z 2023 by Hardwell, mniej klubowo zgrzebny, a bardziej EDMowy (te werble hehe :D). A potem gruchnęła wieść o śmierci Tomcrafta i oczywiście moja myśl: kurde ledwie żem se przypomniałe coś fajnego, to producent znikł, co za jakaś fatalna koincydencja.

Ten miks ma tę zaletę, że wchodzi prawie od razu z melodyjką, która daje mi absolutnie niezawodnego powera zawsze i wszędzie, podczas gdy w wersji pierwotnej wchodziła jakoś w połowie utworu.

Więc mam teraz instant power na zapętleniu. Thank you Tomcraft, na zawsze w mojej wdzięcznej pamięci.

Found Objects is a music compilation series that celebrates the return of the remix and the art of sampling (as in found audio). Australian audio artist (and Cream magazine editor) Antonino Tati trawls the internet to discover the campest of documentaries, some mad retro advertisements, and cool-as film quotes, layering words of wit (and occasional dimwittedness) over alternative, preloved mixes of songs.

Each track is a pretty awesome head trip. Good to show off on the playlist! And the music featured is varied, with Volume 01 containing remixes of songs by Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Darren Hayes, Eurythmics, Suede, EMF, Thomas Dolby, George Michael, and Pet Shop Boys.

Uno de los brazos de la electrónica (en general; el conjunto de estilos, no el estilo propiamente) de hoy consiste en vehicular las canciones transitando subgéneros de la misma dándoles un orden, un timming, una transición hermosa, de modo que el resultado valga la pena y suene a nuevo. Como usar materiales clásicos para construir (edificios, muebles, cerámica...) apartando las técnicas antiguas.

La intérprete del minihit Zarcillos de plata, Judeline, con un éxito silencioso pero constante, va empalmando su debut con pistas inéditas, tal cual manda el canon de esta era del pop. O te mueves o caducas, adelantó la Arjona. Y caducar significa olvido.

El movimiento menos sospechado era el que semanas atrás jugó.

Yo tenía a mi querido (infravaloradísimo) Sega Bodega en stand by desde Kepko. Judeline nos lo ha devuelto (o viceversa).

Tal cual hizo meses atrás Zara Larrson en su mejor single del año, Midnight Sun, Jude y Sega combinan en Piki distintas electrónicas, distintos dance, atinando, con un fin más artístico que de aspirar al éxito de alto copete, lo cual no resta credibilidad y belleza a la canción de Larsson.

Piki comienza con centelleos noventeros, de aquella pista de baile prebakala, para subir la contundencia del beat con una programación deliciosa, que ronda el trance -para mi oído-, dando a la canción su mejor parte, música y toma vocal morreándose en el parking. Luego, un sinte oscuro digno de los casos de los Warren o de ser sampleado por Alice Glass para, finalmente, dar un pequeño subidón al tema, más afilado no por el cambio de registro musical sino en contraste con el anterior movimiento, acabando arribísima, cerca de un track de la Charli-bratz.

Complicadísima suma que resulta ordenada y disfrutona (y un poco larga). Mis dieses, caris.
