@mchesner if you’re talking about the purple berries in the photo - that’s from a plant called Poke Weed. I’m inundated here in #danbury with it. The birds love it! But it’s super toxic for mammals. While pretty, the berries will also stain. Removing the stalks can cause a bad rash so cover up if you are doing it.

Danbury Unites for Immigrants is looking for volunteers! they are most in need of people as Court Escorts for folks trying to do business at Danbury Courthouse.
ICE has been camped outside at the courthouse last two days. They've been there previously, making it hazardous for folks to conduct even routine business.

In the last week, ICE has aggressively increased its presence in Danbury, terrorizing the community. On Monday, June 16th over one dozen unmarked ICE vehicles were spotted around Danbury, at least 10 Danbury residents were abducted off the streets by ICE agents, some of whom were masked, without due process or a warrant.
