CW: Review of Star Trek: Picard s01 e01
@antolius yeah, I guess you are right. I think it's mostly because the current design makes me think more of smooth-skinned elves similar to those in the cinematic LotR universe? I'm sure I'll get used to it (like the ST:D #Klingons, though I still prefer the TNG/DS9/VOY ones), but atm they still feel more like a new race than #Romulans ;)
I think #Dahj's death might've had a stronger impact if they'd waited with the 'twins' reveal a few episodes.
