  2. Yesterday I was in Taylor Creek Park here in East Toronto. Multi-use paths have been restored/extended, and cyclists, scooter users and pedestrians were all politely sharing the paths and looking out for each other. It was beautiful.

    For a moment, I saw what getting around in this city could look like, instead of the hierarchy-based, testosterone-fulled, dangerous rage fest that is the typical experience of transportation in Toronto.

  10. It might not seem like much, but it's a #PR for me. Yes, I've ridden further, yes I've had a higher top speed, but I've never been able to maintain a consistent speed form multiple mile back to back. All but mile 1 today I maintained between 16.0 and 16.4 miles per hour, for 3.5 miles in a row.
    My #cylcing adventure on my #vintagebike is what is driving my #fitnessjourney. It's hard to take a second to be proud of yourself, so make sure that you a recognizing all the wins you have.
